All Hugs and Kisses Cake – Valentine’s Special

This beautiful yet delicious Valentine’s Special Cake is the perfect thing to bring to the date night table this year. 

Yield: 12 Servings

Skill Level: Advanced

Prep Time: 60 minutes 

All you will need is: 

50 pieces Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolate

1 teaspoon Vegetable Shortening

1 cup Margarine

4 cups Whipped Cream Frosting

1 pack Hershey’s Boxed Chocolate Cake 

40 pieces Hershey’s Hugs Brand Chocolate

⅓ cup Hershey’s Special Dark Chocolate Chips

All you need to do is: 

Prepare the boxed cake as per instructions given on the box. Divide in layers.

Place the chocolate ships and shortening in a bowl and melt in microwave at medium heat for 30 seconds. Heat for additional 10 seconds until melted fully and smooth.

Trace a heart with pencil on a piece of baking paper. Now, pipe the melted chocolate using a piping bag on to the traced heart and freeze until firm.

Use the prepared frosting between the layers and on top and side to build the cake. Now take remaining frosting in a piping bag and pipe rosettes on top of the cake. Unwrap the Hugs candy and place one candy on top of each rosette. Now take the Kisses Candy and place along the edges of the cake.

Now take the frozen heart out and place in the middle of the cake.

Cover and refrigerate the cake until firm. Serve slightly cold.

Holiday Pretzel Sandwiches – Christmas Special

Steer all your guests into the holiday spirit with these pretzel and chocolate Christmas treat. Enjoy these as desserts or snacks and get going.

Yield: 20-25 Dozen Pieces 

Skill Level: Beginner

Prep Time: 5 Minutes 

All you will need is: 

25-30 pieces Caramel Toffee

50 Premade Pretzel Squares

10-⅓ cups Hershey’s Premium White Chips

¼ cup Holiday Sprinkles

All you need to do is: 

Preheat the oven to 275°F.

Now, line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Unpeel the cream toffees and set aside in a bowl.

Place the pretzel squares on the prepared baking sheet and place a caramel toffee on top of each square.

Bake in oven for 5 minutes or until the candy has softened (do not let the candy melt). 

Take the sheet out and place the rest of the pretzel squares and press lightly on to the softened candy to make a sandwich.

Place the white chips in another small bowl and heat it in the microwave for about 1 minute and stir. Heat for some more intervals until smooth to stir.

Dip half of each sandwich into the melted white chocolate and immediately sprinkle with the holiday sprinkles. 

Allow the coating to set before serving.

Chewy Cinnamon Chip Cookies – Thanksgiving Special

Packed with Hershey’s Cinnamon Chips inside and out, these chewy cookies are the perfect treat for the Thanksgiving Day tea-time treat. They are every cookie as well as a cinnamon lover’s dream.

Yield: 5 dozen Cookies  

Skill Level: Intermediate

Prep Time: 20 Minutes

All you will need is: 

For the Crust:

¾ cup Butter (softened)

¼ cup Corn Syrup (light)

1 Egg

1 cup Brown Sugar

¼ teaspoon Salt

Cinnamon Chips Drizzle (pre-made)

1 cup Hershey’s Cinnamon Chips 

⅔ cup Hershey’s Cinnamon Chips (additional)

1 cup Pecans or Walnuts (well ground)

2-½ cups All-Purpose Flour 

2 teaspoons Baking Soda

All you need to do is: 

In a large bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until creamy.

Now, add in the corn syrup and egg and beat well.

In a separate microwave-safe bowl, place the cinnamon chip and heat at medium for about 1 minute. Stir and re-heat if necessary, until melted well for 15 seconds intervals. 

Now, stir the melted chips into the butter mixture.

Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt and add it to the cinnamon chip mixture until blended.

Cover and chill the dough for about 2 hours or until firm to handle.

Pre-Heat the oven to about 350 to 375°F. shape the dough into balls and roll it into the chopped walnuts.

Place the balls on an ungreased cookie/baking sheet.

Bake the cookies for about 10 minutes or until it is golden around the edges. 

Let them cool a bit and remove from sheet to a wire rack. Let cool completely.

Drizzle with Cinnamon Chip Glaze. Serve slightly warm and enjoy.

Frozen Hot Cocoa

This might just appear to be a mug of hot cocoa but this amazingly refreshing drink is as cool as anything can get. Give this recipe a shot when you feel like having a mug of hot chocolate but the weather does not allow it. It will hardly take but 5 minutes and is definitely a win game.

Yield: 2 Servings

Skill Level: Beginner

Prep Time: 05 minutes

All you will need is:

¼ cup Hershey’s Cocoa

¼ cup Non-Dairy Creamer

¼ cup Sugar

¾ cup Milk

Dash Salt

2 cups Ice

¼ cup Toasted Marshmallows

Toppings of Choice

All you need to do is:

Mix in sugar, cocoa, creamer and salt in a bowl and set aside for later use.

In a blender, pour milk and our powder mixture along with ice. Cover and blend until ice is properly crushed and the drink is smooth enough.

Pour the drink in serving mugs/glasses and top with miniature toasted marshmallows and the topping of choices such as whipped cream, Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup or chocolate sprinkles.

Serve chilled and fresh.
