Chocolate Fang Doughnut Cake: Halloween Special

These cute but creepy Doughnut Cakes are the perfect treat to make on your next Halloween Party and please the crowd. Let’s Get Shack-ING!

Yield: 8-10 Servings

Skill Level: Beginner

Prep Time: 40-45 Minutes

All you will need is:

⅔ cup Self-Rising Flour

⅓ cup Caster Sugar

 60 grams Butter (softened)

 ¼ cup Hershey’s Premium Cocoa

½ teaspoon Vanilla

1 Egg (lightly beaten)

⅓ cup Milk

2 cups Icing Sugar Mixture

½ cup Water (boiling)

Orange Food Color

Eyes and Dracula Fangs (for garnish)

All you need to do is:

Sift the flour and the cocoa in a large bowl. 

Now add in the butter, sugar, vanilla, eggs and milk and beat together to combine.

Pour the mixture in the greased doughnut pans.

Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180⁰C for about 12-15 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out clean.

Let them cool on a wire rack for about 10 minutes.

Make a thick orange icing with the icing sugar mix and the orange coloring. Ice each cake and decorate with teeth and eyes.

Let cool until the icing is set. Serve immediately or store in air-tight container.
