Delicious Vanilla Frosting

This delicious and easy vanilla frosting recipe can be your go-to recipe for cookies, cakes and all kinds of sweet treats to top off with. You can mix and match with your choice of chocolate chips for added textures and flavors.

Yield: 2-½ cups Frosting

All you will need is: 

¼ cup Butter (unsoftened)

4 tablespoons Milk

¼ cup Shortening

4 cups Powdered Sugar

2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

All you need to do is: 

In a mixer bowl, beat the shortening, butter and vanilla until creamy.

Now beat in 1 cup of powdered sugar until it is all incorporated.

Now mix in the remaining sugar simultaneously with the milk until smooth.

 You can add in your choice of chocolate chips for added textures.

Mocha Cream Frosting

Since coffee is always a welcomed addition to any chocolate recipe, this frosting is the most perfect way to incorporate espresso flavors in your treats. So, let’s see how it is done:

All you need is:

¼ cup Hershey’s Cocoa or Hershey’s Dark Cocoa

6 tablespoons Butter or Margarine (softened)

2-⅔ cups Powdered Sugar

2 tablespoons Milk (warm)

2 tablespoons Instant Coffee or Espresso Powder

1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence

All you need to do is:

In warm milk dissolve coffee and set aside.

Mix powdered sugar and cocoa in a bowl and set aside for later use.

In a separate bowl mix in the sugar and cocoa mixture alternately with milk and coffee mixture while beating to a spreading consistency. Stir in the vanilla and enjoy.
