Turtle Cookies

What is better than these ridiculously cute Turtle Cookies? The simple recipe with a twist of pecans is just what you need to give your usual baking a bit of a kick!

Yield: 30 Cookies

Skill Level: Intermediate 

Prep Time: 20 Minutes

All you will need is:

50 Creamy Caramels in Chocolate Candy  

2 Eggs

⅓ cup Vegetable Oil

1 cup Pecans (chopped)

¾ cup HERSHEY’S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

½ teaspoon Shortening (no butter, margarine or oil)

1 tablespoon Heavy Cream

1 package or approx. 18 ounces Cake Mix 

All you need to do is:

Pre-Heat oven at 375°F. 

Line baking sheets with baking paper and grease slightly. 

Remove the wrappers from the candies and set aside 15 of those candies.

Now combine the cake mix with eggs and oil in large bowl while beating constantly until a blended dough is formed. 

The dough has to be slightly sticky. Divide the dough into 36 equal parts. 

Now flatten the dough balls slightly and shape it around candy pieces and cover the candies completely.

Now roll to make ball and roll the ball in chopped pecans. 

Place the balls on prepared baking sheets.

Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes or until just set (do not over bake). 

Let cool for around 1 minute and then transfer to a wired rack to cool completely. 

Place the chocolate chips and shortening in a small bowl and microwave at for 30 seconds at Medium Heat and stir. 

Microwave at Medium an additional 10 seconds at a time (if necessary) while stirring after each interval until chips are melted and mixture is smooth to stir.

Drizzle the melted chocolate over cookies.

Now place the reserved caramel candies and heavy cream in small microwave-safe bowl and microwave at Medium for about 30 seconds while stirring regularly. 

Now drizzle over the prepared cookies. 

Let the cookies stand until chocolate and caramel drizzles firm.

Chocolate Espresso Twinkies

Prep Time: 90 Minutes

All you will need is:

For the Cake:

1-½ cups Sugar 

3 Eggs 

½ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 

1 teaspoon Baking Soda 

¼ teaspoon Baking Powder 

½ teaspoon Salt 

10 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (softened)

½ cup Buttermilk 

Nonstick Cooking Spray 

Canoe Pan for Twinkies 

1-¼ cups Cake Flour 

½ cup Cocoa Powder 

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 

½ cup Coffee 

For the Filling:

1-½ cups Sugar 

3 Eggs

All you need to do is:

Place a rack in the middle of the oven and preheat the oven to 350⁰ degrees. 

Grease the canoe pan with cooking spray.

Sift together the flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt a few times in a large bowl. 

Beat butter and sugar in a stand mixer on high speed until combined well. 

Now lower the speed and add the eggs (one at a time), mixing until each it is well combined. Now, beat on high speed until light and fluffy for about 6 minutes.

Now beat in ⅓ of the flour mixture. Mix in the buttermilk and vanilla and then another ⅓ of the flour mixture. 

Add in the coffee, then the remaining flour.

Fill each mold halfway with batter and bake for 15 to 17 minute or until a wooden pick inserted comes out clean.

Let them cool in the pan for 30 minutes. Then shift them to a wire-rack and let them cool completely.

Beat cream cheese, cream and vanilla in a stand mixer. 

With the mixer on low speed, add in the sugar gradually and beat until combined. 

Add the espresso and beat until combined.

For the Twinkies, fill them with the filling using a piping bag. 

Serve with tea or coffee and enjoy.

Chocolate Cinnamon Buns

These cinnamon buns are amazing. We wanted to do something different with our normal cinnamon rolls so we tried doing the cc. And guess what it turned out to be absolutely fantastic. Try them out!!

 Skill Level: Intermediate

Prep Time: 30 Minutes

Yield: 12 Servings

All you will need is:

For the Dough:

2-½ cups All-Purpose Flour 

1 teaspoon Salt

1 tablespoon Sugar

4 teaspoons Baking Powder 

1 pint Heavy Whipping Cream 

Chocolate Cinnamon Filling:

4 tablespoons Butter 

½ cup Brown Sugar 

1-½ tablespoon Cinnamon 

½ cup Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Chips 

For the Chocolate Glaze:

1-¼ cups Powdered Sugar 

1 tablespoon Hershey’s Cocoa Powder 

½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract 

2 tablespoon Milk 

All you need to do is:

Mix in the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder in a large bowl until evenly combined.

Now combine the heavy whipping cream with the dry mix to form a dough.

Dust a clean work surface with flour and turn the dough out onto the surface. 

Now slightly work the dough on the dusted station to form a smooth and cohesive dough (do not knead the dough). 

Shape the dough in small rectangles with your hands and use a rolling pin to flatten them out in a larger rectangle.

Make sure that the surface is dusted well to avoid sticking the dough.

Preheat the oven to about 375⁰F.

To make the chocolate cinnamon filling, melt the butter in a separate bowl and stir in the brown sugar and the cinnamon in it.

Spread the cinnamon sugar mixture over the surface of the rolled dough, from edge to edge. 

Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Now roll the dough up from one side to another to have an approx. 16” long roll.

Use a knife or clan dental floss to cut out the roll into 12 equal buns (size may vary depending on how big you want your buns to be).

Grease a casserole dish and place the buns in it (slightly close together). 

Bake the buns for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown on top.

Allow the buns to cool. Prepare the glaze while the buns are cooling. 

Place the powdered sugar in a bowl and add the cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and milk. 

Stir the ingredients until they form a thick, chocolaty glaze. 

Once the buns are mostly cooled, drizzle the glaze over top and enjoy.

Hot Chocolate Soufflé

This recipe will put your baking skills into a test. The recipe is a combination of cake and pudding.

Skill Level: Expert

Prep Time: 30 Minutes

Yield: 8 Servings

All you will need is:

2 cups Milk

¼ teaspoon Salt

¼ cups Sugar

½ cup All-Purpose Flour

8 Egg Whites

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

6 Egg Yolks (well beaten)

¼ teaspoon Cream Of Tartar

2 tablespoons Butter/Margarine

1 cup Sweetened Whipped Cream

1 cup Hershey’s Cocoa Powder

All you need to do is:

Move the oven rack to lowest positions. Lightly butter 2 quart soufflé dishes. 

Sprinkle it with sugar. 

Heat oven to 350⁰f. Fit aluminum foil around the dish. Lightly butter one side of the foil. 

Attach foil with the buttered side down allowing foil to extend 2 inches above dish. Tape the foil to secure it.

Stir together cocoa, 1 cup sugar, flour and salt in saucepan. 

Stir in milk stirring constantly with whisk, until mixture boils. 

Now remove it from heat and slowly stir the egg yolks into chocolate mixture and blend well. Combine the egg mixture with chocolate one in pan, blending well. 

Cook and stir for 1 minute. 

Add butter and vanilla, stirring until blended.

Set aside and let cool for 20 minutes.

Beat the cream of tartar with egg whites until soft peaks are formed then add the remaining ¼ cup sugar and beat until soft peaks are formed.

Gently fold the chocolate mixture into ⅓ beaten egg white mixture. 

Lightly fold chocolate mixture into remaining beaten egg white mixture just until blended (do not over fold).

Pour the mixture into the prepared dishes and smooth top with spatula. 

Place dishes into a larger pan and fill the pan with hot water.

Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until set. 

Remove soufflé dish from water. 

Carefully remove foil and serve immediately with whipped cream.

Hershey’s Classic Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies

A Conventional recipe for supreme family traditions. You cannot go wrong with these epic chocolate chip cookies.

Yield: 5 Dozen Cookies

Prep Time: 25 Minutes

Skill Level: Beginner

All you need is: 

1 cup Butter (softened)

¾ cup Granulated Sugar 

¾ cup Light Brown Sugar

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 

2 Eggs 

2-¼ cups All-Purpose Flour 

1 teaspoon Baking Soda 

½ teaspoon Salt 

2 cups HERSHEYS Milk Chocolate Chips

All you need to do is:

Heat the oven to 375°F. 

Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until the butter is creamed. 

Add eggs in the butter mix and beat well. 

In a separate bowl mix in the flour, baking soda and salt.

Now slowly add the flour mix to the butter mixture and beat until blended.

Now gently fold in your chocolate chips. You can add nuts if you want too.

Using teaspoons pour onto ungreased cookie sheet. 

Bake 9 to 10 minutes or till lightly browned. 

Cool slightly and remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. 

Cool completely. 

Pan Recipe: Spread batter into greased jelly-roll pan. Bake at 375°F for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Now enjoy your heavenly tasting chocolate chip cookies.

Stacked Brownie Delight Recipe

Layered chocolate towers drizzled with Hershey’s milk chocolate chips that make the desert double chocolaty. The dessert is not only delicious but it’s easy to make

Yield: 8 Dessert towers

Skill Level: Beginner

Prep Time: 30 minutes

All you will need is:

1 family size fudgy brownie mix

1 tub (8 oz.) non-dairy whipped topping

¾ cup heavy cream

2 cups (11.5 oz. pkg.) HERSHEY’S MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS

Ingredients need to prepare brownie mix

All you need to do is:

Put the heavy cream and chocolate chips in medium microwave-safe container. Microwave till 1 minute at medium temperature and if necessary heat an additional 10 seconds while stirring constantly after each interval, until the chips are melted and mixture is smooth when stirred.

Set aside to cool at room temperature.

Heat the oven to 350’F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Now be ready to prepare the brownie mixture. 

Batter the cookie sheets, it will help the procedure of baking as the sheets will flatten and spread slightly.

Bake 10-15 minutes or set aside until they are slightly dry. Slightly cool and move the baked cookies to wire rack. Cool completely.

Now stir ½ cup melted chocolate mixture with whipped topping.

Now take a cookie and layer it with the mixture. Now take another cookie and place it on top of the previous one and again layer it with mixture. 

Make this type of dessert with all of the cookies.

When serving, heat the mixture until it’ warm. Drizzle and spread it on all of the layered-cookies tower.

Vanilla Buttercream Frosting 

1 bag Hershey’s Kisses Brand Milk Chocolates

1 bag Hershey’s Hugs Brand Milk Chocolates

For Frosting:

⅓ cup butter or margarine, softened 

4 cups powdered sugar 

3 to 4 tablespoons milk 

1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

All you need to do is:

For Cake:

Heat the oven to 375°F. 

Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans. 

Stir together in a bowl sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. 

Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes. 

Stir in boiling water and beat till the batter is thin.

Pour the batter into prepared pans. 

Bake 30 to 35 minutes for round pans until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. 

Cool 10 minutes and remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. 

Frost with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting. 

Remove the wrappers from chocolates and garnish on top and sides of cake. 

For Frosting:

Beat butter in large bowl until creamy. 

Gradually add about half of the powdered sugar, beating well. 

Slowly beat in milk and vanilla. Gradually add remaining powdered sugar, beating until smooth. 

Add additional milk, if necessary, until frosting is spreading consistency.
